DMCA Policy

We respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect our users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 ("DMCA"), we will respond expeditiously to claims of copyright infringement that are reported to us.

DMCA Notice

If you are a copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of one, and you believe that any content accessible through our App infringes your copyright, you may submit a notification pursuant to the DMCA by providing us with the following information in writing:

  • A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed
  • Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity and that is to be removed
  • Information reasonably sufficient to permit us to contact you, such as an address, telephone number, and email address
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
  • A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner

Our Response

Upon receiving a proper DMCA notification, we will remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material and take reasonable steps to notify the user responsible for posting it. The user may then submit a counter-notification if they believe the material was wrongly removed.

Counter-Notification

If you believe your content was wrongly removed due to a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification by providing us with the following information in writing:

  • Your physical or electronic signature
  • Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or access to it was disabled
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification
  • Your name, address, telephone number, and email address
  • A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your judicial district and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notification

Please note that under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing or was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification may be subject to liability.
